Man puts 5-year-old daughter in sack & sets her ablaze, gets life term

A district court in Kasganj has sentenced Mahipal Singh to life imprisonment for murdering his five-year-old daughter, Somvati, in 2018. Seeing her as a burden, Singh forced her into a sack and set her ablaze. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000.
